Welcome to Boston where your cruise holiday begins with a 2-night stay in the oldest city in America. A word of advice, eat as much seafood as possible, from locally sourced Maine lobster, freshly shucked oysters, and creamy chowder, you can't leave without sampling these local specialities. There is so much to see in this great, historic city. Even if you're not a baseball fan you'll want to pay a visit to Fenway Park, the oldest ballpark in the country, it has been the home of the Boston Red Sox since 1912. |

Setting sail from Boston you'll head north to your first port of call, Bar Harbor, the gateway to the Acadia National Park, where those looking for adventure can spend the day hiking on one of its 158 miles of trails admiring the towering trees and wildlife that inhabit this sprawling 47,000-acre national park. Crossing the maritime border into Canada you'll stop in Sydney and Halifax in Nova Scotia before arriving in Charlottetown on the island province of Prince Edward Island, whose coast is dotted with 63 iconic lighthouses. Saling along the breathtaking St. Lawrence River you'll soon dock in North America’s oldest French-speaking settlement, Québec City. The city's dramatic clifftop position offers visitors picture-postcard views, whilst the narrow cobblestone streets of historic Old Québec, a Unesco World Heritage site, are brimming with European charm. A final jaunt along the borderlands between Canada and the USA will transport you to Montréal where the cruise portion of this holiday comes to an end. |

Montréal is well known for its colourful neighbourhoods and incredible food scene, but for one weekend in June, all eyes shift to the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve, beautifully set on Île Notre-Dame. The site was originally that of the World Expo held in 1967, in fact, several structures still remain, including the distinctive biosphere dome, however for this weekend it'll be the drivers and cars who take centre stage. You'll have general admission tickets included in your package for you to enjoy both qualifying and the race on Sunday. |
